Welcome researchers to the Core Facility (ZABAM) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment. We support faculty, students - and the general public - with advanced instrumentation, method development, sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis.
Whether you're planning a new study or refining an ongoing project, our expert team collaborates with you to design protocols, optimize workflows and interpret results. From project conception through to data analysis, we help ensure your research goals are achieved efficiently and rigorously.
Our facility now comprises four units:
- Central Laboratory
- Center for Scientific Imaging (CSI) - multi-modal advanced microscopy
- Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography Lab - metabolomics and small molecule analysis
- Plasma Spectrochemistry (ICP) Lab - elemental analysis
